lead me

– lead me –

To the doors that have led me,

Let you rest.

You have been burdened by my interests,

and worthy of my success.

Becoming a light in the midnight sky,

I have followed you with vigor.

To the doors that have led me,

thank you.

To the doors that have led me,

let you never close.

You have shown me my path in life,

and opened up a world of possibilities.

Made the world my oyster,

and my life my own.

To the doors that have led me,

thank you.

To the doors that have led me,

let you not fear.

The places I have been that I will never go again,

I shall carry in my heart forever.

Written in the stars for all to see,

I cherish the things you have shown me.

To the doors that have led me,

thank you.

To the doors that have led me,

let you not cease.

When I lay awake at night a wandering soul,

know that I still seek your guidance.

I need you to show me my place,

and remind me of my route.

To the doors that have led me,

thank you.

To the doors that have led me,

let you rest.

For you have shown me who I am,

and where I am meant to go.

You now leave this up to me,

to seek and to share.

To the doors that have led me,

thank you.
